In order to ensure the smooth return of the astronauts, Professor Chen Li led the team to use the original multiple coupling weaving technology of Tianjin Polytechnic University to "tailor-made" multidimensional braided structural reinforcement materials with high temperature resistance of more than 2000 degrees Celsius for the Shenzhou XV re-entry module, which accurately met the requirements of "high temperature ablation resistance, strong impact resistance" for the protective structural composite materials of the key components of the re-entry module. Make new contributions to the safe landing of astronauts.


The composite materials research team led by Professor Chen Li has long been engaged in the basic research and technology development of multi-dimensional braided materials and their composite applications in the aerospace field. Relying on the university's national "double first-class" construction discipline and "High Performance fiber and textile Composite material preparation Technology" national and local joint engineering research center, key laboratory of the Ministry of Education, Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education and other national and provincial platforms, Tianjin Polytechnic University has built an advanced textile composite rapid response research platform integrating material design, multi-dimensional weaving, liquid forming, performance characterization, etc. It has obvious characteristic advantages in three-dimensional weaving of complex special-shaped composite components, and its scientific and technological achievements have reached the international advanced level, winning 2 second prizes of National science and Technology Progress and 7 first prizes of provincial and ministerial science and technology. The multi-direction woven reinforced textile composite material developed was successfully applied to the "Shenzhou 7" to "Shenzhou 15" return capsule, and has continuously contributed "heavenly power" to China's aerospace industry.


After landing, the astronauts Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming and Zhang Lu all got out safely. After each astronaut exited the capsule, the staff immediately put on blue "warm clothes" for them.


Astronauts stay in orbit for a long time, and can not immediately adapt to the Earth's gravity after returning to the ground. This "outfit" is the astronaut ground thermal device, which can provide effective protection for the health of the astronaut.


The astronaut's "warm suit" was designed by Professor He Yang, former director of the National Costume Museum of Beijing Fashion Institute. Professor He Yang served as the sleeping bag pattern and cabin overalls color designer for the astronauts of the "Shenzhou 7", "Shenzhou 9", "Shenxi", "Shenzhou 13" and "Tiangong 2" missions, and began to design patterns and patterns for the cabin sleeping bags from the "Shenzhou 7". "At that time, the concept of 'auspicious clouds flying in the sky' was used, the sleeping bag had various cloud patterns, and the 'God 15' used the ground warm equipment of the 'God 13' and 'God 11'." I hope that through the design of affinity, astronauts can feel the warmth of 'home' when they go through a long flight and land safely in the motherland."


At the wonderful moment when astronauts return to Earth, this device has the dual function of keeping warm and showing the national image. How to integrate traditional cultural elements with aerospace high technology and the heroic temperament of astronauts, and use color and graphics to form a peaceful visual atmosphere, requires a lot of research and attempts in the design.


He Yang's design team finally chose the Han and Tang patterns for redesign, with a magnificent and elegant design style to highlight the heroic posture of Chinese astronauts. The main color of the pattern is blue, which is the special color of China's aerospace industry. The typical patterns in bronze mirrors, fabrics and paintings of Han and Tang Dynasties, such as tuanhua and Xiangyun, are extracted, and the patterns are organized by the method of four continuous traditional patterns. The strict geometric structure is composed of rational order, in line with the rational characteristics of space science and technology, and the individual flowers and clouds are rich in changes, full of perceptual elegance and interest, perfectly integrated with the image of China's space science and technology.


The floor warmer consists of a sleeping bag and blanket. The sleeping bag will hold the astronauts in their spacesuits, while the blanket will provide more warmth and protection. The sleeping bag was specially shaped to fit the natural curvature of the astronaut in the armchair; The use of outdoor sports professional fabric, to achieve wind insulation effect. In order to ensure the safety and convenience of astronauts, the functional structure of the sleeping bag has been uniquely designed, and the fabric and sewing technology have been strictly selected to ensure the environmental protection and safety of the process.


On the front of the blanket, the logo of the Astronaut Center of China and the ACC font are regularly combined together, and the auspicious cloud pattern of the Tang Dynasty surrounds the area. It has the sense of soaring upward and the charm of traditional patterns. Moire, font, logo successively size progressive, highlighting the space image elements, with a rich sense of hierarchy. On the reverse side, floral pattern is combined with logo and font. Double-sided design can increase the warmth function, ensure the beauty and practicality.


The sleeping bag is composed and bright blue, the front chest has the national flag and space mission logo, and the inside is the blue-white flower pattern of the Tang Dynasty. Style front split, pull lock open and close, easy to wear and take off. The sleeping bag adopts a three-dimensional cutting structure, which is suitable for the astronauts in the state of the recliner device, and is more comfortable and fit.


It is reported that this project is also a major practice of the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology's doctoral project "Saving inheritance and design innovation of Chinese traditional Costume Culture". The project aims to provide talents and intellectual support for the protection and promotion of Chinese traditional clothing culture and the enhancement of the international competitiveness of the clothing industry.
